Tang Jia Qi Demi (b. 2000) graduated with a Diploma in Fine Art from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. Demi is an aspiring artist based in Singapore; she desires to become a multidisciplinary artist and pursue a Master in Art Therapy someday. Demi has exhibited her works locally in a group exhibition such as Pameran Poskad, Angelico Art Award (2018, 2020). In her practice, she often uses biblical references through primary and secondary experiences to connect with her audiences. Demi has actively volunteered as a Sunday school art teacher in Singapore Christian Canaan Church since 2016 and participated in events, in particular, the Art residency in Okinawa by Keyakismos(2019), Moleskine Art Project (2019) and Sketch for Survival (2019). Demi is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Psychological Science in James Cook University and is a freelancer.
